As our BDR Team Lead you will focus on team management, performance tracking, and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales development professional with a strong ability to coach, analyze data, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Representatives, ensuring they meet and exceed targets.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development to improve team performance and skill sets.
- Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Foster a positive, results-oriented team culture that encourages collaboration and accountability.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor key sales metrics, including call volume, email outreach, conversion rates, and demo bookings.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track individual and team performance.
- Provide regular reports and insights to sales leadership, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on messaging, lead quality, and conversion optimisation.
Strategic Growth & Process Optimisation
- Identify and implement best practices to improve prospecting efficiency and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to refine lead qualification criteria and outreach strategies.
- Optimise tools and technology (CRM, sales engagement platforms, analytics tools) to enhance team performance.
- Test and iterate new approaches for outbound and inbound lead engagement to maximize demo bookings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years in a business development, sales development, or related role within a SaaS environment; 1+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity preferred.
- Skills: Strong coaching, leadership, and communication abilities; data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales engagement tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Mindset: Goal-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in driving team success.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
