Business Development Representative (BDR) Team Lead

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) Team Lead to oversee and optimize our team of BDRs responsible for booking demos for our multi-offering SaaS solutions. This role will focus on team management, performance tracking, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Salary: €42,000 Basic & €50,000 OTE

As our BDR Team Lead you will focus on team management, performance tracking, and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales development professional with a strong ability to coach, analyze data, and drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Representatives, ensuring they meet and exceed targets.
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development to improve team performance and skill sets.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive, results-oriented team culture that encourages collaboration and accountability.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor key sales metrics, including call volume, email outreach, conversion rates, and demo bookings.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track individual and team performance.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to sales leadership, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on messaging, lead quality, and conversion optimisation.

Strategic Growth & Process Optimisation

  • Identify and implement best practices to improve prospecting efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to refine lead qualification criteria and outreach strategies.
  • Optimise tools and technology (CRM, sales engagement platforms, analytics tools) to enhance team performance.
  • Test and iterate new approaches for outbound and inbound lead engagement to maximize demo bookings.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years in a business development, sales development, or related role within a SaaS environment; 1+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity preferred.
  • Skills: Strong coaching, leadership, and communication abilities; data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales engagement tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Mindset: Goal-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in driving team success.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
