Overview:
We seek a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Executive, you will be crucial in driving our business growth by identifying and cold-calling new B2B prospects. Your primary focus will be on generating leads, nurturing relationships, and ultimately closing deals. Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Utilize various sources such as databases, online directories, and industry registers to identify potential B2B prospects.
- Cold Calling (60-80 outbound dials a day): Initiate outbound calls to engage prospects, introduce our products/services, and generate interest in our offerings.
- Autonomy: Desire and ability to work under own autonomy
- Qualification: Conduct thorough research on prospects to understand their business needs, pain points, and potential fit with our solutions.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects through effective communication, active listening, and consultative selling techniques.
- Needs Assessment: Identify customer requirements by asking probing questions and actively listening to their responses to determine how our offerings can add value.
- Solution Presentation: Present our products/services in a compelling and informative manner, highlighting their unique selling points and benefits to the prospect’s business.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM software.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach in generating new business and meeting sales targets.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, prospecting efforts, and progress towards targets for management review.
- Continuous Learning: Performing research on competitors, consumer behavior, market trends, product developments and lead acquisition methods
- Company Representation. You may be asked to represent the company at trade events or customer meetings when appropriate.
Skills/attributes required:
- Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A competitive spirit and a passion for selling.
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Previous experience with HubSpot, or similar.
