Overview:
One Touch Health is a leading healthcare systems provider, seeking to hire a Business Development Representative. The successful candidate will generate new business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by identifying and cold-calling new B2B prospects. The primary focus will be on generating leads, nurturing relationships, and ultimately closing deals. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Utilise various sources such as databases, online directories, and industry registers to identify potential B2B prospects.
- Cold Calling (70-80 outbound dials a day): Initiate outbound calls to engage prospects, introduce our products/services, and generate interest in our offerings.
- Qualification: Conduct thorough research on prospects to understand their business needs, pain points, and potential fit with our solutions.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects through effective communication, active listening, and consultative selling techniques.
- Needs Assessment: Identify customer requirements by asking probing questions and actively listening to their responses to determine how our offerings can add value.
- Solution Presentation: Present our products/services in a compelling and informative manner, highlighting their unique selling points and benefits to the prospect’s business.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM software.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach in generating new business and meeting sales targets.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, prospecting efforts, and progress towards targets for management review.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance your sales effectiveness.
- Company Representation: You may be asked to represent the company at trade events or customer meetings when appropriate.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience with cold calling and lead generation.
- Previous experience in software sales would be desirable.
- Industry knowledge or an understanding of the care industry would be an asset:
- Previous account management or customer support experience.
- A competitive spirit and a passion for selling.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience with HubSpot, or similar.
